iSeek Solutions develops policy and plans for the career planning, education and e-learning, workforce development, and employer growth marketplaces.
To have a 21st Century workforce, we must have a 21st Century education and workforce development system from kindergarten through higher education and beyond to adult learning opportunities. To align job skills and education, we need arenas in which there is an exchange of ideas and a fostering of combined efforts. iSeek Solutions brings forward lifelong-learning and workforce solutions that address key needs.
Services undertaken and provided by iSeek Solutions are the direct result of, and are linked to the mission and policy discussions of the organization. Services range from the dissemination of best practice information, to the development of comprehensive solutions delivery infrastructure and products. Services are broken into three main categories: Career Planning and Workforce Development, Education and E-Learning, and Employer Growth.
To accomplish the goals and objectives set forth by the iSeek Solutions Board of Directors, two Councils have been created to carry forth the work of the organization. These are the Minnesota Learning Innovations Council and the Minnesota Workforce Innovations Council. The charge of each of these councils is to prepare policy recommendations and a work plan for approval by the iSeek Solutions Board and to determine outcome priorities for 2005.
